Forge and NeoForge server hosting
Forge is the classic mod loader behind most big modpacks. NeoForge is its newer fork, used by many packs on recent Minecraft versions. Chunkly runs both on Kingdom Premium at €1.90/GB per month, from 4 GB (€7.60). Village Budget at €0.85/GB is Vanilla, Paper, and Purpur only, and the free Campfire tier is Vanilla only.
Forge and NeoForge worlds stay running, because big packs can take minutes to boot. Install a pack from the Modpacks tab, or upload a server pack with the file manager. Friends join name.play.chunkly.net with the same pack version.
Forge or NeoForge
Use the loader the pack page names. Older packs and versions up to 1.20.1 are mostly Forge. Many newer packs, such as All the Mods 10, use NeoForge. A mod built for one loader and version does not load on another.

Install a Forge or NeoForge pack
The Modpacks tab does the loader setup for you.
- Pick a Kingdom size on plans. Read the pack page for its RAM advice first.
- Open the Modpacks tab, find the pack, pick the version, and click Install Modpack. The panel sets Forge or NeoForge for you.
- For a pack that is not listed, upload its server pack in the Files tab. Steps are in the modpack docs.
- Start the world. The first boot of a big pack can take a few minutes; logs/latest.log shows progress.
- Friends install the same pack version in their launcher, then join name.play.chunkly.net.

Do Forge servers sleep?
No. Forge and NeoForge stay running because big packs boot slowly. Press Stop and the world stays stopped until you press Start.
Can I install CurseForge packs?
Yes. The Modpacks tab installs CurseForge and Modrinth packs, and you can upload an unlisted server pack in the Files tab.
How do I update a pack?
Back up first, stop the world, open the Modpacks tab, pick the new version, click Install Modpack, then start. Friends update to the same version.
