Armor priorities
Protection IV is the all-rounder. Add Unbreaking III and Mending when you can. Feather Falling IV on boots saves more lives than almost any other boot enchant.
Depth Strider or Frost Walker depends on your world. Soul Speed is a Nether luxury. Skip niche trades until your core Protection set is done.
Weapons and tools
Swords: Sharpness V, Looting III, Unbreaking, Mending. Sweeping Edge helps in Java crowds. Bows want Power V, Infinity or Mending (pick one), Flame, Punch optional.
