Is Chunkly live?
Yes. https://chunkly.net is live for accounts, billing, and the control panel. EU game nodes come online as we add capacity. Join address when provisioned: name.play.chunkly.net.
Is Campfire actually free?
Yes. Campfire is free. No card needed. Village Budget runs from €1.70/mo (2GB) to €10.20/mo (12GB). Kingdom Premium runs from €7.60/mo (4GB) to €30.40/mo (16GB). Rates stay €0.85/GB Budget and €1.90/GB Premium.
Are you really the cheapest Minecraft host?
Cheapest Minecraft hosting in the world right now. Budget is €0.85/GB RAM/mo — Village 4GB is €3.40/mo. That undercuts the public NL/EU budget hosts we checked (~€0.90–€1.10/GB, checked 2026-09-04). Premium stays sharp at €1.90/GB.
What does “reliable” mean here?
Reliable EU Minecraft hosting — DDoS, NVMe, monthly cancel, from €0.85/GB. We do not publish fake uptime percentages or review scores. Reliability claims are the stack: EU location, DDoS protection, NVMe, and monthly cancel with no lock-in.
How is EU ping / latency?
Servers are hosted in the EU for European players. Exact ping depends on your ISP and city — we do not invent latency numbers.

Search and install popular modpacks directly from the panel with one click. Automatic dependency resolution and file extraction included.
Paper and plugins vs Forge/Fabric modpacks?
Paper and Purpur are for plugins, great for SMPs and performance tweaks. Forge and Fabric are for mods and full modpacks (CurseForge/Modrinth). Pick the stack that matches your pack; Kingdom Premium RAM is the better fit for heavier modded worlds.
What panel do you use?
Our custom high-performance control panel built specifically for Minecraft server management, file editing, console streaming, and automated backups.
Do Village servers stay online 24/7?
No. Budget Paper/Vanilla sleep after about 12 minutes empty and wake when someone joins (often 15–30 seconds). Campfire sleeps after about 6 minutes. Forge/Fabric modpacks stay always-on because boot is slow. If you hit Stop in the panel, the server will not wake until you Start it.
Where are servers hosted?
Servers are hosted in the EU.
How do friends join?
Copy name.play.chunkly.net (port 25565). Friends add it in Minecraft → Multiplayer → Add Server. Paper/Vanilla worlds sleep when empty and start when someone joins (~15–30s). Modded stays running. Owner Stop means it will not wake until they Start.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing is monthly with cancel anytime.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes: DDoS protection is included. We only name a specific vendor when documented in the repo.
Are you affiliated with Mojang?
No. Chunkly is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. Fan-style voxel art only. No official Minecraft assets.
Are you the Chunky pregenerator mod?
No. Chunkly is EU Minecraft hosting. We are not the Chunky world-pregenerator mod.
